Car history:
Rare 1978 Chevy Corvette Pace Car. Only 21,945 original miles!!!
I've never owned a car like this, but for the few miles that I drove this amazing
car, I realized why everyone wants them. It really was an amazing experience.
Runs amazing, Looks amazing, She is amazing!!

I've done a little walk around video to show you the car. If you would like more
details about anything specifically let me know. http://youtu.be/T-zHyuMyhjc

Includes:
Covers for the glass T-Top
Car Bra
Car cover
Original owners manual
Service records, including initial manufacturers inspection
Cb Radio and 8-Track owners manual
Original Warranty info
Stock Number
Original battery and tire brochures
.....and the list goes on.

Specs:
Limited edition 1978 Chevy Corvette Pace Car. L48 V-8 engine. Automatic transmission.
As far as I know, everything is original. The only thing I know of that is not original
is the battery.
Beautiful Mirrored glass T-Top just waiting to be opened on a nice summer day.
Rare working CB Radio included
Working 8-Track player and a few tapes included
AM/FM radio
Power windows & locks
Cruise control (I haven't tested it out)
Power brakes
Power steering
Aluminum Wheels

Condition:
She is in GOOD condition. There are three main blemishes all of which I've
pointed out in the pictures. Other than those there is basic wear and tear (ex:
some minor paint blemishes, worn drivers side floor mat, worn tires).
The interior brake light that is displayed on the dash board is always on. Easy fix.
Holds a great shine.
Interior looks great
Lights work
All gauges working properly
8-Track player works great. Some tapes are included for your audible enjoyment.
CB Radio works properly
Engine is clean and amazing
Drives great

It takes a second for her to start. I think it is due to the cold Utah temperatures. If
she's been running for a minute or two and you turn it off and restart, she fires right
up with no hesitation at all.
The mirrored T-Tops are beautiful! Power antenna doesn't go up. I get great radio reception though.
AC/Heat work
Wipers Work
Excellent sounding speakers
Pace Car sticker decals were never installed

The two wheel caps on the front wheels are missing. You can see them clearly in
the YouTube video (http://youtu.be/T-zHyuMyhjc). The rear caps are still there.

This Car's History: (according to documentation that comes with the car).
Stock # 1714
It looks like this beauty had its "New Vehicle Inspection" done on 5/22/78 in Maine.
It was sold to its original owner June 28th, 1978 In Manhatten, Kansas. At the time
it had 4 miles on it.

The second owner lived in Holladay, UT. The earliest record I have of the second
owner is 2/21/82. At the time it had 18,851 miles.
1985 there were 21,602 Miles
May 5th, 1995 there were 21,794

I purchased the car a few weeks ago with the intention of selling it right away.
The current mileage as of today (1/24/12) is 21,945 miles!

It has only been driven 343 miles since 1985!! I had to drive her about 8 miles to
get her to my garage. And it was an amazing 8 miles. Price: US $14,999.00

Pace Car History:
The VIN #1Z8748S905746 indicates this is a Pace Car replica as they were the
first Corvette model to receive their own unique VIN the 8th digit is a 9′.
Production of the 1978 Corvette Pace Car was limited to 6,502 units. Initially 300
units were planned, however, demand was such that Chevrolet built one for each
of its dealerships.

This was the first production Corvette to be identified as a special edition as it
was designated to be the Pace Car at the Indianapolis 500 Race. A lead story on
the front page of the Wall Street Journal indicated this model would become an
immediate collectable Corvette. There was a quick impact on the selling price of
these Corvettes with the asking of $10,000 over the list price of $13,653 for the
1978 Pace Car.
